TU Showcase ready to show off Towson University's programs and research

Through the TU Showcase,Towson University and the community continue to come together to help the region.

Presented by the Division of Innovation and Applied Research and Academic Affairs, the Towson University Showcase[BROKEN LINK] brings together faculty and staff with the area community to discuss how to solve challenges facing the region.

The ninth-annual Showcase will take place on Tuesday, April 26 in the Minnegan Room on Towson University’s campus. The event begins a noon, and admission is free.

“The TU Showcase has always been a great event to connect to or reconnect with Towson University’s many partners and to learn about the great work being done by Towson’s faculty and staff,” said Daraius Irani, interim vice president of the Division of Innovation and Applied Research.

“This year is especially important. Aside from being the nine-year anniversary of the Showcase, our new president Dr. Kim Schatzel will share her vision of how partnerships can impact the greater Baltimore region.”

Schatzel is this year's keynote speaker. With a diverse background in entrepreneurship, business, product innovation and education, she will share her vision for the university as a committed partner for the greater Baltimore area.

There also will be exhibitor presentations and networking, featuring hundreds of area professionals from the business, education, government and non-profit sectors.
