English Language Center gives students the keys to success

Three students talk about the strong foundation TU's English Language Center provided before they began pursuing full-time degrees.

Students from all over the world come to Towson University's English Language Center (ELC) for classes in intensive academic English, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) preparation, English conversation and culture, and accent modification.

Each student's reasons for learning English are different, but graduate student Monica Meneses and undergraduates Ghadah Mahrougi and Jipeng “Allan” Wang decided to stay after finishing the program and earn their degrees from TU. Learn why the ELC has been an integral part of these students' TU experiences.
