Diagnosed with autism at 3, now he's a TU alum
The Washington Post came to TU Commencement on Friday to see Montel Medley cross the stage.

When Montel Medley graduated from high school as the valedictorian, The Washington Post's Ovetta Wiggins wrote about his triumph.
On Friday morning, The Post reporter and a photographer were on hand at SECU Arena to see Montel graduate as part of the Fisher College of Math and Science commencement ceremony.

Medley, who is autistic, graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA. On Friday, he became a TU alum with his family in attendance.

One of TU President Kim Schatzel’s presidential priorities[BROKEN LINK] is promoting a diverse and inclusive campus that is welcoming to all. The Office of Disability Support Services (DSS) is part of that commitment.
