That victory also catapulted the Tigers from No. 7 in the country to No. 1—in all three national polls.

In the USILA Warrior/New Balance Division I Coaches' Poll, the Tigers earned the number one slot by way of 373 points and 14 first-place votes. TU also collected the number one spot in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll with 553 points, including 25 of the 28 first-place nods. The Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 saw the Tigers at the top, followed by Cornell, Yale, Loyola and Maryland.

TU has collected wins over Johns Hopkins, Mount Saint Mary's, Georgetown and Loyola (Md.) in 2019 and travel to North Carolina to play in The Crown Lacrosse event on March 8 and 10.
