Each year, Towson University partners with the Johns Hopkins Children Center for TigerTHON to change kids’ health and change the future by raising the critical funds needed by Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Gear up for TigerTHON 2024 on April 13 with these helpful hints.

1. TigerTHON 2024 is carnival themed

This year, TigerTHON 2024 will feel like stepping into a carnival! You can play carnival games, eat fried food and enjoy the festivities with your friends. Wear your best attire for the fun-filled day that includes games, food, sport competitions and much more.

2. Registration is still open

You can show up at Burdick Hall to register the day of, but you’re encouraged to register early so you have a chance to fundraise the $72 entrance fee. Why $72? It represents the 72 children who go to the hospital each minute in the U.S. So, click this link to register and show up for the children!

3. The event is eight hours long

TigerTHON runs from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.— the shortest one yet! Now you can stay the entire time to sink your friends (and professors) in the dunk tank, enjoy the food, dance to music, jump around in the bounce house and—most importantly—meet with families of Miracle Kids.

4. Solo registrations are encouraged

If you don’t have a group to register with, don’t worry. Once you register, you’ll join a team based on your class year.

5. Cool off in the cryotherapy bus

New to TigerTHON is the cryotherapy bus! Take a minute to chill out in this onsite cold therapy spa, so you don’t have to worry about getting too hot during the event.
