Transportation Annex

TU provides free shuttle service on and off campus for faculty, staff, and students.

TU has adjusted shuttle service during winter break, with full service resuming on January 26th.
On-demand off-campus service will be available 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. by calling 410-704-RIDE (7433). There will be no Shuttle Services on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Students may request an escort from TUPD until SafeRide resumes at 2:30 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026. Contact TUPD at 410-704-RIDE (7433) to request an escort

Towson University offers both on- and off-campus shuttle service during class sessions. We also offer Paratransit, SafeRide, and charter bus services. For questions about service, email uride AT_TOWSON.
On-campus shuttles run only during the fall and spring terms. Off-campus shuttles operate during the fall and spring term and on an abbreviated schedule over winter, spring, and summer breaks. See the shuttle routes and nearby MTA bus stops on TUTigerRide.
Campus shuttles do not operate when Towson University is closed for holidays or inclement weather. In the event of university closure due to inclement weather, shuttles will continue to operate one hour after the specified closure time, and begin operation one hour before the university reopens, provided it is safe to do so. All published scheduled times are departure times. Times are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather conditions, and construction. Real-time shuttle information is available on TUTigerRide.
Riders are expected to arrive at their bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled departure. The university is not responsible for delayed arrival times. Drivers are not permitted to make unscheduled stops.
The Baltimore Collegetown Shuttle for Fall 2025 will run from Monday, August 25, to Saturday, December 13, 2025. Spring 2026 service will run from Tuesday, January 20, to Saturday, May 16, 2026. For more information or to view the current schedule, visit the Collegetown Shuttle webpage.
