The mission of University Advancement is to involve alumni and friends of the university in raising Towson University’s philanthropic and alumni engagement profile in support of the institution’s strategic priorities. Advancing Towson University’s interests by increased financial resources and alumni participation is critical to support academic programs and to respond to Maryland’s educational and workforce needs. Therefore, through the offices of Development, Alumni Relations and the Towson University Foundation, University Advancement strives to attract individual, foundation and corporate support as well as provide appropriate stewardship to all gifts to the university.

Back again this year! Dust off your instruments and play with the Pep Band during the TU men’s basketball game. Following the game, join us for a reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar to connect with other TU alumni in the Marching Band Alumni Alliance. $20 registration includes postgame reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres. A cash bar will be available.

The Jewish Tigers Alumni Alliance invites TU alumni and their guests to Jewish Community Night! Cheer on the TU men's basketball team as they face the Elon Phoenix, and enjoy Kosher gameday fare as you mingle with friends and family. The reception begins at 6 p.m. and continues throughout the game (tip-off is at 7 p.m.). There will also be a silent auction featuring prizes from the local community. Proceeds from the auction will benefit TU Hillel.
