Biography

Daniel Kawah is an entrepreneur, advisor, and ecosystem builder based in the Washington, DC–Baltimore region. He currently serves as entrepreneur in residence at the StarTUp at the Armory at Towson University, where he works with students, faculty and community founders to develop and scale early-stage ventures.

Daniel has spent his career supporting founders through accelerators, economic development initiatives and startup advisory work. Prior to joining Towson University, he worked with organizations such as US Ignite and Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, where he helped founders build and grow companies in emerging technology sectors. He has also supported university-based entrepreneurship initiatives, including work connected to the University of Southern California’s innovation ecosystem.

Daniel also brings a background as a serial entrepreneur and now supports founders across the globe through his firm, CDS84, where he advises early-stage companies on strategy, growth, and building sustainable businesses.

He is passionate about helping founders move from concept to customer and strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.

Education

Daniel holds a M.S. in social entrepreneurship from University of Southern California and a B.A. in political science and economics from Morgan State University.
