Mikey Mullen
Video Production Specialist
Biography
Mikey serves as video production manager for the Division of Business & Public Engagement. In this role, he plans, films and edits a wide range of video projects, using his passion for visual storytelling to connect audiences to the events, community collaborations and learning opportunities of the Division.
Since the first BTU Partnership Awards in 2018, Mikey has filmed and edited over 25 short documentaries that highlight community engagement work between TU and partners across the state.
Mikey also works with departments across Towson University to develop engaging videos to support academic programing, campus events and student resources.
Beyond campus, Mikey supports video development for clients throughout Greater Baltimore, including the Maryland Council on Economic Education (MCEE), Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU) and the Maryland State Department of Education.
Education
Mikey holds a B.S. in electronic media and film from Towson University.
Personal
Mikey enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, photography, riding roller coasters, rock climbing and watching scary movies.
