Biography
Arthur is a strategic communications and marketing leader with expertise in driving brand visibility and engagement across digital and traditional platforms. As director of communications of the Division of Business and Public Engagement, he oversees integrated marketing initiatives, including website management, blog editorial direction, email campaigns, social media strategy and video production. Arthur leads a creative team to deliver compelling, data-driven content that aligns with divisional and institutional goals and brand standards. He manages editorial calendars, signature event communications, and paid advertising strategies while leveraging analytics to optimize performance. Arthur also manages email marketing, communications strategies and web management for the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU) and other campus and client programs and initiatives.
Arthur began his tenure at Towson University in 2015. Previously, he served as director of marketing and media relations for Columbus Area Arts Council in Columbus, IN. His background includes roles in book publishing, advertising, and marketing.

Arthur holds a B.A in Journalism and a certificate in film studies from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Arthur is a news junkie, a lover of art and architecture, and an avid rower and cyclist.
