Jessica Tye

Biography

Jessica joined the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in 2022. As membership coordinator, she manages the recruitment and retention of members in collaboration with the director, including online new member registration and membership renewal. She also provides support to members and instructors for in-person and online courses and serves as an ex-officio member of Osher standing committees.

Prior to coming to TU, Jessica was an educational instructor and assistant director for Employment First at The Arc Carroll County. While there she taught career management to post-secondary students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and worked with the community and businesses to promote the hiring and inclusion of the individuals served. Previous experience includes being administrator of executive education programs for The Brookings Institution, organizing and managing domestic and international programs. She also served as associate director of Executive Education Programs for The George Washington University School of Business.

Education

Jessica spent her first two years of college at then Towson State before transferring to American University, where she earned a B.A. in international studies.

Personal

Jessica is a proud mom of two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano, singing, decorating, and cooking.
