Kathleen joined the Office of Partnerships & Outreach in October 2016. As partnerships manager, she is responsible for supporting the vast number of partnerships that Towson University has with schools, non-profits, community organizations, healthcare providers, and industry partners. This work, which falls within the presidential priority BTU—Partnerships at Work for Greater Baltimore, includes supporting faculty, staff, and students engaging in this work; relationship building with partners; tracking partnership data; and evaluating outcomes of this work.
Kathleen is deeply committed to supporting and enhancing communities throughout Greater Baltimore. Prior to joining Towson University, Kathleen worked at Johns Hopkins University as community programs manager, providing opportunities for employees to engage with the surrounding Baltimore communities. Prior to that, she worked in tourism, highlighting and promoting the assets in and around Baltimore County.
Kathleen is a proud TU Tiger. She holds a B.S. in family studies from Towson University.
Kathleen is a proud homeowner in Perry Hall, a dog lover, and an outdoors enthusiast. In addition to her rescue dog, she frequently fosters for a local rescue and can often be found helping with land preservation and waterway restoration (a.k.a. planting trees and cleaning streams) with Gunpowder Valley Conservancy.
Two apps she can't live without? Pinterest and Accuweather (so she can plan her next hiking adventure)
