Partnerships and Outreach

Kathleen joined the Office of Partnerships & Outreach in October 2016 as partnerships manager to support efforts related to BTU—Partnerships at Work for Greater Baltimore. In 2022 she moved into the role of assistant director of partnerships & engagement, in which she is responsible for supporting the vast number of collaborations that Towson University has with schools, nonprofits, community organizations, and industry partners. She leads a variety of programming to help expand TU’s partnership and community engagement work and serves as the entry point for organizations to connect with TU faculty, staff, and students. Kathleen has a background working with nonprofits, helping to grow their mission and make positive impacts in their communities. This passion for making lasting, positive impacts is what drives Kathleen in her role—helping to connect the expertise and needs of TU faculty, staff, students, and partners to address the needs of our communities, while also making long-lasting impacts on TU students.

Kathleen is a proud TU Tiger. She holds a B.S. in family studies from Towson University and is pursuing an M.S. in nonprofit management and social entrepreneurship at University of Baltimore.

Kathleen is a proud homeowner in Perry Hall, a dog-mom to Kevin, and an outdoors enthusiast. When she’s not out hiking on the local trails or fixing up her house, she’s often volunteering with and serving on the board of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy.
