Mikey Mullen

Biography

As a video production specialist, Mikey plans, films, and edits a wide variety of video projects, including interviews, instructional, testimonial, and promotional, for Towson University, the Division of Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research, and clients throughout Greater Baltimore.

Mikey enjoys the process of highlighting organizations and initiatives through on-camera interviews. He uses this process to support storytelling of BTU—Partnerships at Work for Greater Baltimore and films and edits videos highlighting winners of the annual BTU Partnership Awards. Additionally, Mikey supports University Marketing & Communications on videos spotlighting graduating Towson University students that are shown during commencement exercises.

Mikey has also created and edited dozens of videos for the Maryland State Department of Education. This includes videos produced for the new Maryland Families Engage website to inform parents, teachers, and caretakers about the resources available to them to support children and their families. He has also created and edited the Early Childhood Education Race to the Top Grant Programs videos, which highlights various projects put into effect using the Race to the Top Challenge Grant funding.

Education

Mikey holds a B.S. in electronic media and film from Towson University.

Personal

Mikey enjoys traveling, cooking, photography, riding roller coasters, rock climbing, and watching and anlayzing movies and tv shows.
