Dr. Carol Pippen, PhD

Biography 

Carol Pippen is director of the Writing Support Service for students of English as a Second Language. She also teaches the Literary Essay, Honors Literature, and Topics in American Literature. Among her research interests are Emily Dickinson, the Bronte sisters, Jane Austin, and scholarship in teaching writing, especially the use of peer groups, journals, and reader-response theory.
