Dr. Pandey specializes in technical and professional communication (TPC), digital rhetorics, transnational rhetorics, AI, and environmental rhetorics. At TU, he teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in technical communication, scientific writing, intercultural communication, information design and environmental communication. His work has appeared in the Journal of Technical Writing and Communication, Computers and Composition, Technical Communication Quarterly, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, World Englishes, MinneTESOL Journal, the Journal of Global Literacies, Technologies, and Emerging Pedagogies, and in the proceedings of ACM Special Interest Group on Design of Communication (SIGDOC) and the Annual International Conference on American Business Communication.
His current projects include a study of AI in advising and the ethics of digital companionship, an analysis of the rhetorical framing of climate change, a multimodal rhetorical examination of two transnational cultural traditions, a collaborative project on community-engaged grant writing, and research on global intercultural communication.
