Biography

Dr. Germán De Patricio, Associate Professor of Spanish, is a native of Cádiz, Spain. He received his Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of Virginia; holds an MA in Spanish Literature from Purdue University, and did his undergraduate studies at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. His research has focused on Francisco de Quevedo, a great and complex author and statesman of the Spanish Golden Age. His scholarly interests include political theory and cultural sociology. His research has an international impact: his articles and book have been quoted and praised by experts in Europe, Latin America, USA and Korea.
