Megan George is an assistant teaching professor and proud alum of the deaf studies program at Towson University. Their work focuses on ASL and deaf culture, with an emphasis on history, literatures, media and the role of technology within these frameworks. Megan is especially passionate about deaf arts, visual vernacular and the power of storytelling in deaf communities. Outside the classroom, they enjoy spending time in nature and drawing inspiration from the world around them.
