This 15-unit certificate prepares educators to design, develop, implement, manage and evaluate online learning environments and programs.
The online teaching and learning post-baccalaureate certificate is designed for preK-12 educators, instructional leaders, program directors, professional development staff, higher education faculty, instructional design specialists, chief learning officers and other professionals.
Students gain deep understanding of online learning environments, principles of learning, and instructional design and development that research has shown is needed to create and manage quality online and blended learning environments and programs.
The coursework from this program can be applied to the master’s in instructional technology with concentrations in either Instructional Design and Development or Educational Technology, depending on your professional goals.
The post-baccalaureate certificate in online teaching and learning accepts admission materials on a rolling basis. Application deadlines are August 15 for fall admission; January 7 for spring admission; and June 1 for summer admission. Learn more about admission requirements and deadlines.
