Jennifer Schnur holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park in Special Education with an emphasis on learning disabilities and emotional disabilities. She has worked for Montgomery County Public Schools as a special educator, faculty at Montgomery College and is currently the program director for the Elementary Education and Special Education undergraduate programs at USG. She is also the Professional Development School Liaison for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), in school supervisor and the Council for Exceptional Children Student Chapter advisor. Her teaching, service, and scholarship focus on diversity in education and inclusive practices for children of all ages. In addition to teaching and supervising, Jennifer Schnur actively participates with Montgomery College in developing programs to meet the needs of our future education population.
