Biography
Seo Gyoung Kim received her M.F.A. in illustration practice from Maryland Institute College of Art. Kim’s research focuses on illustrating children's books that celebrate cultural diversity. Kim's most recent children's book, A Map Into the World was selected as one of the best picture books of 2019 by Kirkus Reviews. Her upcoming picture book, Baba's Peach Tree is scheduled for publication with Random House Studio for spring 2024.
