Biography
Visiting Assistant Professor, Yuanwei Lyu, will receive her doctorate degrees in public relations from the University of Alabama (expected). Lyu’s research interests center in 1) corporate social advocacy (CSA) and corporate social responsibility (CSR); 2) crisis communication and 3) organization’s engagement on social media. Lyu’s work has been published in several peer-reviewed academic journals including Journal of Intercultural Communication Research, Journal of Media Business Studies, and International Journal of Advertising. Prior to pursuing her doctorate degree, Lyu worked for one year at the Public Affairs team at Edelman Beijing Office as a project coordinator.
In her spare time, Lyu enjoys cooking, outdoor camping, live music and the great outdoors.
