Applied Physics (M.S.)

This Applied Physics Masters program is designed to prepare graduates for leadership positions in a wide range of science and technology careers. A broad, graduate level education in applied physics is delivered along with specialized skills related to project management, team work, advanced communication, presentation and interdisciplinary problem solving.

Integrated STEM Instructional Leadership (PreK-6) Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

This exciting 6-course Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) program prepares educational professionals in PreK-6 school settings to become instructional leaders in integrated science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. These educational professionals include practicing early childhood and elementary teachers, as well as those with teaching backgrounds who serve students in PreK-6 students in other capacities (e.g., curriculum specialists). Program graduates will develop an understanding of: STEM subject content and practices, iSTEM instructional approaches, and skills and habits of mind essential to effective engagement in iSTEM. The Integrated STEM Instructional Leadership (PreK-6) PBC Program has been approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) for those seeking the “Instructional Leader: STEM (Grades PreK–6)” endorsement.
