‘LaborStay-ing’ the weekend
Whether it’s a movie night, a 90’s-themed party or football’s season opener, TU has enough to keep you busy this holiday weekend
By Kyle Hobstetter on August 31, 2018

With the semester in full swing, many Towson University students are looking toward the Labor Day holiday for one last weekend of summer fun.
And while there are some students heading home to visit family or trying to make one last trip to the beach, many students are celebrating the holiday weekend on TU’s campus.
To help those students staying on campus have some end of summer fun, the Office of Student Activities is hosting its annual LaborStay Weekend. Over the holiday weekend, campus will host outdoor movies, a trivia night, parties, giveaways and of course every student’s favorite: free food.
The events are sponsored by various student affairs departments at Towson University and designed to provide students some different activities they might not get to experience anywhere else.
Some highlight events of the weekend include:
Friday, August 31
Drag Bingo
