There are numerous image crops used within the snippets and components available for Towson University’s website. Listed below are available image crop sizes grouped by the snippets for which they are used.
Preferred Format and File Size
With the exception of images that require a transparent background (which would be .png files), the preferred format for image files uploaded to the Towson University website are jpg (jpeg) files.
Since large image file sizes can negatively impact page download time, the goal is to get the smallest file size with no substantial loss to image quality.
