This course prepares students for the iBT (Internet-based) and PBT (paper-based) Test
of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and International English Language Testing
System (IELTS) exams.
The program focuses primarily on the iBT TOEFL test, but students will also practice
the PBT in preparation for the ITP (Institutional TOEFL Placement test), which they
can take at Towson University after completing the course. The reading skills on both
tests are similar, and the structure exercises on the PBT will help students with
the reading and writing questions on the iBT.
