TuToring & Learning Center

The Tutoring & Learning Center helps students achieve their academic goals.


Students have the option of participating in or attending athletic functions at Towson.

Campus Recreation

Towson University has a very active Campus Recreation department that offers recreational opportunities of various types, including Intramural Sports.

Cook Library

Cook Library has a variety of resources for Towson students, and is also a wonderful location for students who are looking to study.

The Towson University Counseling Center is a source for personal counseling for students, faculty, and staff.

Office of Technology Services

All students enrolled at TU will be given a student account. For more information please visit the Office of Technology Services (OTS), housed in Cook Library. OTS also provides Student Computing Services (SCS).

On–Campus Student Employment

Students in F-1 student status are legally able to work during their exchange. Work authorization is limited to on-campus (TU) employment only. Students may not exceed 20 hours of work per week during Fall & Spring semesters.

Textbooks are not included in the TU Partner Exchange Agreement. You can choose to buy used books rather than new books as a way to save money. Both new and used textbooks are available for purchase at the University Bookstore or through other vendors (internet, etc.).

TU Onecard

The TU Onecard serves as your student identification card on campus. Your TU Onecard includes your 7-digit Towson ID number. To obtain a TU Onecard, go to Auxiliary Services to have your photo taken.

University Police

Towson University has its own Police Department that works to keep the Towson campus safe.
