Facility Reservations
The TUNE facility is available to rent for your workshop, meeting, or event.
There are a variety of diverse spaces within the TUNE building that are able to be rented for individuals not affiliated with the university. Below you will find examples of room options and affiliated capacities. To request use of the TUNE building, complete the Facility Reservation Form. You will be contacted by an Operations Manager within two business days.
Please review the following considerations when submitting your request:
- If your event is occurring outside of business hours, additional fees for house keeping, public safety, technical support and labor may incur.
- Food and beverage are allowed to be brought into the building. TUNE can assist with the placement of a catering order through Harford Community College’s food service.
- Booking multiple rooms at a time may qualify for a multi-room discount.
- Affiliate and non-profit pricing is available.
- A quote can be provided if interested in booking the entire building. Please indicate this interest on the reservation form.
Examples of Facility Spaces
Convertible Classroom
A convertible classroom is a multipurpose learning space with desks that contain hidden or built-in computers, allowing the room to easily switch between a traditional classroom setup and a computer lab environment. Capacity: 30 persons.

Traditional Classroom 1
A traditional classroom designed for lectures, discussions and collaborative learning. This room features tables with chairs arranged in rows, pods, or other flexible layouts. This is the larger classroom option. Capacity: 40-50 persons.

Traditional Classroom 2
A traditional classroom designed for lectures, discussions, and collaborative learning. This room features tables with chairs arranged in rows, pods or other flexible layouts. This is the medium classroom option. Capacity: 20-30 persons.

Flexible Classroom 1
A flexible classroom designed for lectures, discussions and collaborative learning. This room features tables with chairs arranged in a rectangle, rows or other flexible layouts. This is the smaller classroom option. Capacity: 15-24 persons.

Science Laboratory Classroom
A science laboratory classroom designed to support hands-on instruction, demonstrations and collaborative learning. The room features large lab worktables with movable seating. The front of the room includes an instructor station and projection capabilities. Capacity: 20-30 persons.

Auditorium
An auditorium-style lecture hall designed for large-group instruction, presentations and events. The room features tiered, curved seating with long work surfaces, individual chairs and laptop plug-in capabilities. The front of the room includes an instructor podium, presentation technology, projection capabilities and whiteboard space. Capacity: 120 persons.

Cafeteria
This multipurpose cafeteria and common area designed to support dining, informal gatherings and community events. The open-concept layout features movable tables and seating arranged throughout a spacious central area, allowing for flexible use as both a dining space and event venue. Surrounded by open stairways and adjacent lounge or meeting spaces, the area encourages collaboration and interaction. Capacity: 150 persons.
