Financial Aid Office
Room 339
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
If you apply for financial aid, the Financial Aid Office will calculate your eligibility for aid based on the estimated Cost of Attendance Budgets below. (Also see How Awards Are Determined.)
These fall-spring budgets include estimated direct TU charges (tuition/fees, campus housing, and meal plans) and allowances for indirect costs (books and supplies, off-campus housing/food, transportation, and personal expenses).
For students who live on-campus or off-campus not with parents, our room/board allowances are based on a standard multiple-occupancy room (Glen Complex, Richmond, Newell, Prettyman, Scarborough, or the Residence Tower). The food allowance is based on our 14 meals/week meal plan. If you commute from your parents' home, you will receive the lower "Living with Parent" room/board allowances.
These estimates are based on our approved 2022-2023 rates, which remain subject to change as deemed necessary by TU and the University System of Maryland Board of Regents. For more details, see tuition and fees or housing and meal plan rates. Our estimated 2023-2024 costs won't be available until March 2023.
