Parking will be on the first/ground floor of the Union Garage. Park in any spot labeled "Campus Tours" or "Visitor Parking." Please enter the garage on the first level by turning on Union Drive.

Check-in begins 30 minutes before your visit's start time. We recommend checking in about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled visit time. Individuals who arrive after tours have departed will not receive a guided tour.

Check-in will be located on the 2nd floor of the University Union in room 226. Please look for “campus tour” signs and ambassadors to assist you.

Due to space limitations, registered students may bring two additional guests, for a total of three people in your party.

The visit includes a brief information session and a 90-minute walking tour. Tours are provided rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. Comfortable shoes are a must! Campus tours are typically 1.50-1.75 miles long with moderate inclines.

Due to time constraints, we cannot visit all campus locations. If visiting during business hours, you are welcome to explore other buildings and visit other offices. For security reasons, you cannot access residential halls.

Here are some brainstorming questions to ask yourself to help you form a list of questions you’d like to ask our staff and student ambassadors.

  • What are your college decision “deal breakers?” What services, programs, etc. do you absolutely need your college to have?
  • What social and cultural aspects are important to you?
  • What academic and professional opportunities are you looking for?

We do not offer add-ons to our visit experience. Visitors interested in meeting with departments outside of the Office of Admissions should contact the department(s) prior to their visit to set up a meeting. Search for contact information here. Availability varies.
