UAC Members serve as consultants and advisors on assessment to colleagues, seek the input of respective college councils and other constituent groups on matters of assessment policy and practice and report to respective college councils and other constituent groups on the work of UAC. Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm in Cook Library.
The purpose of this subcommittee is to identify learning assessment opportunities as well as review the assessment processes of the administrative units and evidence of use of assessment data.
The purpose of this subcommittee is to review the results of the assessment processes associated with co-curricular learning and address any other urgent matters that may arise between meetings of the UAC.
The purpose of this subcommittee is to implement the policies of the UAC and the University Senate that apply to the assessment of academic programs and University Core, make recommendations to the designated entity responsible for the recertification of courses in the University Core based on assessment reporting, and analyze trends and practices across the University.
In addition, members of the subcommittee will communicate and support faculty across the campus, provide professional development opportunities to faculty, help facilitate the annual peer review of assessment, and assist with assessment planning and activities. SSLA meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month from 12:30 – 2PM in Stephens Hall.
