Current Badging Opportunities

Towson University has partnered with Capital CoLAB to issue the Generalist Digital Technology Credential. To enroll in the current 6-course pathway, please email the contact person listed below. They will work with you to sign up for the required classes. Once you have completed the course requirements, you will be sent an invitation to claim your badge through Credly.

*UMBC online module: Data Visualization and Communication (Students that they have prerequisite classes for CIS 468, they can take CIS 468 in Computer Science department. However, if the students don’t have the prerequisite classes, they can substitute CIS 468 with UMBC online module. There is no prerequisite for this UMBC module).  

*UMBC online module: Data Ethics module (Students that have prerequisite classes for COSC 418, they can take COSC 418 in Computer Science department. However, if the students don’t have the prerequisite classes, they can substitute COSC 418 with UMBC online module. There is no prerequisite for this UMBC module).
