Fees for housing are established each year by the University System of Maryland Board of Regents and must be paid in full in accordance with the procedures and deadlines established by the university.
Students sign a dual housing and meal plan contract (PDF) for the full academic year, including fall and spring terms. The contract does not provide for housing for Minimester. All resident students, except those living in Towson Run Apartments, are required to purchase a meal plan option.
In addition to the fees for housing, resident students pay a non-refundable $350 housing deposit to reserve a space in university housing. This deposit is credited to the student's spring term account if the student continues to live in university housing.
