Rachel Anderson-Sammot

Biography

Rachel joined the Continuing and Professional Studies team in 2023 as the enrollment and operations manager. In this role, she leads the operational, technical, and administrative aspects for the department, overseeing the enrollment lifecycle for students seeking professional certifications. Rachel also maintains customer relationship management tools to create, maintain, and oversee student databases.

 

Additionally, she works with internal and external collaborators including sales, accounting, technology, and student success to ensure continuing education programs run efficiently and students have access to all resources necessary to successfully complete programs.

 

Previously, Rachel held various roles at Rutgers University, including administrative research associate with the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and project support staff at the Rutgers Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities. She also served as editorial assistant with F(r)iction/Brink Literacy Project.

Education

Rachel earned a BFA in creative writing with a minor in psychology from University of Maine at Farmington.

Personal

Rachel spends time dreaming up story ideas that she never seems to have time to write down. She had to be accountable for it before now, but she blames her kittens for distracting her now.
