The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Career Community is designed to offer targeted resources for students pursuing careers in STEM related industries. The career coach works with students one-on-one regarding career planning tools and exploration. The assistant director of external relations works with employers and alumni to offer unique and meaningful career-related opportunities.

Exploring Options for Pre-Screened Majors

Students in pre-screened majors can use the following resources to explore academic options and potential career paths:

  • Focus 2 – Explore majors and career options through self-assessment, career exploration, and informed academic decision-making
  • Career Coaching – One-on-one support to help students discover their interests and confidently choose a path aligned with their goals
  • Forage Career Explorer – Virtual simulations that allow students to “test-drive” real-world jobs and explore careers that match their strengths, interests, and work style
  • O-Net Interest Profiler – Identifies students’ interests and connects them to related career options
