If you wish to take Independent Study (ECON 495) or Internship (ECON 497), you will need to fill out the appropriate forms and have them approved prior to registering for these courses.

This award is given to an outstanding economics and/or geography student with a preference for combined majors. While students at any level are eligible, students with an established performance at Towson have an advantage. The Jeremiah J. German Scholarship in Economics is open to junior economics majors who are entering their senior year. Students must have completed ECON 309 and 310 by the end of the Spring semester. Scholarship is based on academic achievement. Applicants must write a 750-word essay on a topic that will be announced to all eligible students each year.
The Dr. Tamara Woroby Scholarship in Economics is open to juniors majoring in economics with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. No application form required, all economics majors in their junior year are automatically eligible and considered. The selected student will be notified by the scholarship committee.
