Undergraduate Programs

We offer two undergraduate programs in the Department of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology & Deaf Studies. These majors can also be combined in a double major with careful advanced planning.

The Deaf Studies major is designed for students who want to learn about the rich culture, history and contributions of the deaf community while gaining proficiency in American Sign Language. Graduates enter a variety of professions in health care, education and human resources.

The Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology major is a pre-professional degree program designed for students who want to pursue careers as Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists. Both careers require graduate study. The undergraduate degree is designed to prepare students for admission into both types of graduate programs.
