Do I need to fill out an application for Towson University?
Applicants should first apply through the CASPA portal. Only students selected for an interview will be asked to fill out a Towson University application. 

Can I apply more than one time if not accepted the first time?
There is no limit to the number of times you can apply to the program. CASPA requires re-applicants to completely resubmit a new application each year.

What is the deadline for applying to the physician assistant program?
All applications must be verified in CASPA by August 1, 2022. 

If my GPA is less than 3.0 can I still get accepted?
No. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for admission to the program. 

I completed the prerequisite courses several years ago, will my prerequisite
courses still be accepted?
Prerequisite courses will need to be completed within the last 10 years. 

Are the results of a GRE examination required for application from prospective students?
No, GRE exam is not required.

Is there a part time physician assistant program?
No, course work must be pursued on a full time basis only.

I’m interested in taking one of the courses in the PA program in advance of applying to the program. Can I register to take a PAST course as a non-degree seeking student?
Students can only register for PA program courses if they have been formally admitted to the full program. Students cannot take PA program courses as non-degree seeking students. 

Is there more than one class starting each year?
There is only one class admitted for each June start date.

On what campus are classes held?
Starting in summer 2022, all courses will be held on the Towson University campus at 8000 York Road, Towson, MD 21252.
