Biography

Dr. Christin Iroegbu is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Nursing at Towson University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research. She earned her Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Community-Based Nursing from Towson University, and a B.S. in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her research focuses on chronic kidney disease, health disparities, the nursing workforce and staffing, and patient-provider communication. She has published widely in leading nursing and health journals, presented at national and international conferences, and received recognition as an Emerging Diversity Leader by AcademyHealth. In addition to her scholarship, Dr. Iroegbu has extensive experience in clinical nursing practice, and she remains committed to advancing health equity through research, teaching, and service.
