Impact TU
Impact TU focuses on fostering social change by working with local community groups.
Impact TU provides an opportunity for 500 TU students to engage with community partners who are committed to fostering sustainable communities. Students learn about local efforts toward developing sustainable communities and then engage in hands-on projects focused on environmental sustainability, economic security, social well-being, and civic engagement. Project sites are on campus and in the Towson-Baltimore area.
Impact TU: Local Action for Social Change
The next Impact TU program will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Local community organizations are now invited to complete the Partner Interest Form to participate in Impact TU 2026. Forms are due by February 20.
Registration for students to participate in Impact TU 2026 will open early spring semester. Students participating as part of a student organization can be grouped together.
Students are encouraged to bring water and wear clothes they are comfortable getting dirty. Students are provided transportation to and from community partners, breakfast, snacks, and a t-shirt.
