Biography
Jake Bartholomew’s research is interdisciplinary in nature, focusing on the intersections between social and political philosophy, critical theory, and Latin American philosophy.
He is especially interested in how philosophy can contribute to understanding present socio-political conditions, as well as contribute toward positive change in the future, which can be seen in his organizing work with the Radical Philosophy Association.
Jake regularly teaches courses in ethics and social and political philosophy as well as Philosophies of Latin America (PHIL 318).
