Assistantships

Many students in the Psychological Science concentration receive graduate assistantships, which typically include full or partial tuition remission and a stipend.

Assistantships are available in three ways:

  1. The Psychological Science Program Director typically offers two 10-hour-per-week assistantships to incoming students. All admitted students are automatically considered; no separate application is required. Offers are usually made in March.
  2. The Psychology Department typically offers about ten 10-hour-per-week graduate assistantships. A call for applications is sent to current and admitted students, usually in late April.
  3. Additional assistantships are available across campus in other departments and offices. Students may apply through Handshake, as described on the website below.
