Biography
Elyshia Aseltine joined the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice
in Fall 2012. She graduated with her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas
at Austin. Her teaching and research focus on crime/law/deviance, criminal justice,
and race/ethnicity in the US and Africa. She teaches courses Race and Crime, Deviant
Behavior, Deviance and Organizations, and Sociology of Law.
