Admission Requirements

The Early Childhood Education program is a screened major. All applicants must meet specified, minimum requirements to be considered for admission, including:

• have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have completed all prerequisite courses
• meet the Maryland State Department of Education Basic Skills Assessment Requirement
• meet with a program advisor, and submit a complete application with supporting documents by the specified deadline,
• attend a mandatory orientation session on the designated date
