Alumni Profiles

Students who have graduated from this program have been successful acquiring jobs in higher education, business, public school systems (PreK-12), online learning and professional training. This semester we are graduating our 30th student since the inception of the program.  We are proud to have graduates entering the workforce and having success in the field.  Some of our alumni hold noteworthy positions, such as: Dean of Mathematics, Higher Education Faculty, Director of Professional Development, Director of Multimedia, Director of Instructional Technology, Director of Online Training, Instructional Designer, School Principal and Classroom Teacher.  Students have also been successful in adapting the knowledge they have learned in our program into academic positions in a variety of content areas, such as: math, computer science, health, nursing and special education.

Thesis Competition Videos

Three Instructional Technology Doctoral students completed in Towson University’s Inaugural Three Minute Thesis competition as part of the Research Week Celebration in the Spring of 2018. The goal of the Three Minute Thesis is to provide an opportunity for graduate students to  showcase their scholarship and to refine their professional communication skills.  Dr. Lisa Twiss was one of two winners for this competition and received a small stipend from the Office of Graduate Studies.
