Towson University – Educator of the Year – 2018.  Awarded for outstanding performance and dedication to students at the Center for Student Diversity.

Office of English Language Acquisition – 2017.  English learners moving to proficient outcomes with engagement and rigor (EMPOWER).  2.2 million dollar grant for a five year period as the co-principal investigator.

International TESOL Ambassador – 2017.  Awarded to seven out of 155 applicants to assist in promoting their international conference and mentor new members.  The organization has over 11,000 members from all over the world.

Towson University - Office of Academic Innovation - Teaching Innovation Award - 2016.  Awarded for an English learner focus faculty team project based in Baltimore City.
