Early Childhood & Special Education Access for Maryland Child Care Workers
ECSE Access is a bachelor's degree pathway specially designed to support employees of accredited child centers across the state of Maryland pursuing an early childhood & special education degree.
ECSE Access Program Highlights
- Part-time program sequence
- Online, evening coursework
- On-the-job internships
- Students may be eligible to apply for Child Care Career Professional Development Fund (CCCPDF) tuition assistance
- Graduates are eligible for dual certification in Early Childhood Education (Pre-k through grade 3) and Special Education (birth-grade 3)
Candidates of the Program
- Must be employed at an accredited childcare center in Maryland
- Must have completed prior coursework towards education at an accredited college (ex. AAT, AA, AAS)
- Want to pursue their bachelor's degree in ECSE while working full-time at their childcare center
