Biography
Born and raised in Marlton, New Jersey, Dave Mosko has been playing, studying and writing music since childhood. He started trombone and piano at the age of 10, and performed professionally around the NJ/Philadelphia area through his high school years. In 2019, Mosko was named the winner of the American Trombone Workshop Competition and the International Trombone Association’s Carl Fontana Soloist Competition. He was also awarded a Downbeat Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Performance, and was selected as one of 11 musicians from the United States as a Yamaha Young Performing Artist.
In 2021, Mosko joined the US Army Field Band’s “Jazz Ambassadors” whom he performs and tours with year-round. He has also shared the stage with/recorded with such greats as Jerry Weldon, The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Noah Kahan, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Temptations and the Four Tops among others. Mosko strives to help celebrate community and meditation through his music.
