Graduate Programs

The Department of Mathematics offers three graduate programs leading to Master of Science degrees. 

  • The Master of Science in Actuarial Science and Predictive Analytics provides an interdisciplinary foundation in actuarial science and predictive analytics.
  • The Master of Science in Applied and Industrial Mathematics program provides students with a broad knowledge in applied mathematics, with an emphasis on areas with the highest demand in business and industry. This program has two specialization tracks: (1) the Differential Equations/Optimization track and (2) the Applied Statistics/Mathematical Finance track.
  • The Master of Science in Mathematics Education program provides mathematics teachers with advanced study in mathematics, mathematics education and general education. The program offers teachers additional experience in higher-level mathematics to enhance their teaching with additional depth and breadth of content. This program has two specialization tracks: (1) the Middle School track and (2) the Secondary School track.
