Parking survey is next crucial feedback piece in TU study
“Participation is vital” to understanding needs of campus community

Towson University continues to adapt to the needs of the campus community. Parking & Transportation Services is seeking feedback from students, faculty and staff on the future of parking and
shuttle services.
Open through March 31, an ongoing parking and transportation survey is the latest in a series of steps to engage the community on new campus parking
and transportation models.
“We invite all students, faculty and staff to complete the survey and take this opportunity
to provide feedback,” says Pam Mooney, director of parking & transportation services.
“Participation is vital to understanding how to best meet the needs of our campus
community."
Parking & Transportation Services shared initial results of a campus-wide study and detailed the proposed options at town halls in February and March. The study,
in collaboration with planning consultant Kimley-Horn, took into account parking and
shuttle usage data, peer benchmarking and feedback from hundreds of members of the
campus community.
Attendees at the town halls could offer feedback and ask questions about the presented options. All feedback will be used to determine which recommendations
are adopted into TU’s parking and transportation programs.
