Every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., SAGE sponsors or co-sponsors a variety of activities.
These include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Social Activities: SAGE students, mentors and staff gather and celebrate academic achievement and diverse
cultural groups, listen to music, play board and card games, and enjoy light food
and refreshments.
- Academic Workshops: The workshops address time management, test-taking strategies, goal setting, developing
relationships with faculty, use of campus-wide academic resources, successful study
strategies and other relevant issues.
- Career Development: A concrete plan is needed to achieve goals through education. Career development
programs help students plan, evaluate, and refine their career development strategy.
- Financial Planning: Basic budgeting principles are presented and students are encouraged to handle their
financial affairs responsibly.
